Can-ams were blessed with adjustable fork angles for serious flat track handling. I’ll be setting this one at 26°. I’m using a 1975 MX frame and a 1979 short stroke 250 with Q rotary valve for a bit of torque. I’ve kept 70s era compression releases so I’ll use one for brakeless cornering. The bike will be light, fast and low for my short legs. Sadly I couldn’t use a flat track tank because nothing other than the stock tank will fit on the C-A backbone. The tail will be an XR750.
